All in a hard days work

Today was a day of hard work. I scrubbed down my walls and shampooed carpets. As I have a home inspection coming up. I studied npo and business partner program material. I rent my home off of 4 churches. Saturday I will have one committee member from each church in my home. I have put together folders for each church on npo. I will be presenting them to the committee members on Saturday. I'm also hoping they will view the presentation while they are in my home.
I was on the boot camp call this evening and Susan and Jackie gave me some great advice. As always.
I only managed to get one contact. Talked to a couple of different ones but only one would give info.
My blog is short but I'm ready to fall into bed.

Day 2 of the second week

I just got off of the boot camp call. The call was full of information. I discovered I need to change my approach when talking to people. I'm getting names, phone #'s and email addresses but when I do the followups, the contacts are telling me they haven't had a chance to look at the website. They tell me in a day to two they might get a chance to look at it. Jackie advised me of the 3 questions I need to ask, and I also need to pinpoint them to a time of committment.I will change what I'm doing maybe I'll get better results.
Jackie also talked to me a little bit about a focus group at college. I will need to get this info again because I liked what she said.
I'm going to work on putting some kind of contest together for mpm downline. I'm going to go now. I have lots of work to do.

Day 4

Today started out really odd. Early this morning while I was reading the boot camp blogs and drinking my coffee a young man knocked on my door. I was still in my bathrobe, but I answered my door. The young man ask if I was the mother of the house. I replied yes. He said he was required to sit down with parents of school age children. I told him I did not have school age children. He ask about all my neighbors. As he started to go I said wait a minute I have something for you. I explained TWCCTW and MPM. I gave him a flyer and ask for his email. He didn't want to give me any info. I don't blame him I probably looked pretty scary. I let him keep the flyer anyway. Who knows maybe he will check it out. I didn't count him as one of my contacts.

I had some errands to run today. With my flyers and cards I went to town. My first stop was a convience store to buy my daughter something to drink. I mentioned MPM to the cashier the same way I approached my co-workers yesterday. She said if this is strictly internet based I don't have internet or a phone right now. We are in the store often and she is checking on getting a lap top. She said when she gets her lap top she'll let me know. She did not want the information at this point. My next stop was the rehabilitation office that is helping my daughter with her memory problems. We needed to pick up medical records. I told the secretary I was involved with an organization called TWCCTW and MPM. I told her the organization helped orphanages and non-profits around the world and had a program she could make money on buying her own gasoline and groceries. She said she was all about helping change the world. I gave her a flyer and ask if I could have her email. She filled out the card completely. My next contact came from the Social Security office. The clerk took a flyer, and I ask her if she would mind giving me her email. She put her name and email on the card but not her phone #. That's ok I will be making more trips to her work so I can keep in contact with her.My next contact I'm quite sure I shocked her. I was at the grocery store that I have choosen for my grocery cert. she was the cashier. When she gave me my total of $115.86, I said that is great, I was afraid it was not going to be over $100.00 and if I spend $100.00 in here ,I make money on it. She said , "how do you do that"? So I explained. I ask her if she would like information on it. Her face lit up and she said do you have something? I gave her a flyer and she filled out my card. She probably has never had anyone exited to get their grocery total before.
After my errand running was done I came home and sent 143 follow up emails, and 5 snail mails. I had to be at work at 5:30 pm.
While at work I made 3 more contacts. Who all gave me all of their information.Which made a total of 6 person to person contacts. I will be doing follow up phone calls tomorrow for my co-workers. I tried really hard to be home from work to catch the boot camp call but we were busy and I didn't get home till 9:30 eastern time.

Day 3

Today is the Day 3. I did not get a post in yesterday. I drove to Columbus Ohio which is a 3 hour drive one way. I went up with a friend to visit her mother. I thought we were going shopping while we were up there. I thought that would be perfect. I could share my power mall with everyone I met. But as it turned out, we did not leave the apartment. When I arrived home it was too late to contact anyone. I did manage to send the first email out to the 5 new leads I received from the Miracle Team . I looked up the phone #'s on white pages .com. Only one was available. I called this one and left a message. I also called 2 others from previous leads and left a message there as well.
I got up at 6:00 this morning. I feel today was very productive. As I sewed many seeds. I printed several of the flyers I designed. I also took blank business cards and wrote Name, Phone #, and email address on them. I addressed envelopes to the 5 new leads I received from the Miracle Team yesterday and sent them the flyer I designed in snail mail. I also sent 13 family and friends (that I have talked to previously about MPM) the same flyer in snail mail. I then headed to the post office to get stamps and mail my snail mail. Feeling really good about promoting the WCM and Together We Can Change the world.I grabbed a flyer , business card, and my mail I needed to send and went into the post office. I was gonna talk to the cashier at the post office. Once I got in there, I froze. All I did was buy a book of stamps. I couldn't mention the great opportunity I have to share. I walked back to my car really dissapointed with myself.I had not shared WCM. Now it was time to go to work. I'm a server at Red Lobster. Before getting out of my car, I folded the flyers so they would fit in my apron pocket and got my business cards.
While I was working today, I knew I had to ask my co-workers, If I could share something with them. I ask one of them, if I could show you an online business opportunity that helps orphanages and non-profits around the world and gives you a program that allows you to make money on your gas and groceries, would it be of interest to you? She said, "sure". I ask her if she 'd give me her email address. She said, sure. I handed her the business card, and flyer. She filled out the whole card, writing her name, phone # and email address. Remember I only asked her for her email address. I thought "wow" that was really easy. The next person I approached was a manager in training. I asked her the same thing. She said that sounds great. I handed her a business card and flyer. She also filled out all of the information. The 3rd one I ask was not as easy. She said, I don't know, I've been scammed by things like that before. I told her it was not a scam and let it go at that. The third contact said yes, and filled out my card. The fourth person said it sounded great and took a flyer. She said she does not have an email address set up yet.But I gave her the information anyway as she works with me and I see her daily. I told her to look at the site and I'd get back to her to see if she had any questions. While I was talking to the fourth contact another co-worker came up and said what are you talking about? I gave her the same information I had given the other 4. She said, "can I have the web address"? I gave her a flyer and card. She filled out the card completely. My shift at work was over and I had my 5 contacts. Tomorrow I will return to the post office. As I left my job unfinshed. I have to go to the grocery store and gas station tomorrow as well. So I'm looking forward to the people I'll contact tomorrow.

Day 1

Today is the first day of my 30 committment in Miracle Boot Camp. I missed the call this morning. I thought we had one in the evening as well. I did not get my assignment for today until 11:30 p.m. I was supposed to contact 5 people. I did not get that done. I did create a flyer that I'm pretty excited about and will start passing out tomorrow as I make my 5 contacts or more. I also was involved in the Miracle team. Since I did not make the call this morning I knew doing something was better then nothing, So I continued following up with the leads that I have been working on with the Miracle Team. I also emailed my downline and let them know that I have taken on the adventure of my life and invited them to follow along as I take this wild ride. I'm gonna give this boot camp my all, as I know this is a wonderful opportunity to build my business as well as give money to non-profits around the world. This truly is a win/win.
I listened to the Family Chat, which was a very incouraging call as usuall. The quest were very inspiring. Thanks Ginny for all you do for us.
